The three-day Mehfil-e-Shabeena organised by Ministry of Religious Affairs will begin at Faisal mosque here from 27th of Ramazan (October 31).

According to programme the Ministry announced on Friday, 13 Qaris have been selected from all over Pakistan for Holy Quran recitation in the Mehfil-e-Shabeena.

Qaris (four from Punjab, three from Sindh, two from NWFP, one from Balochistan, two from ICT and one from AJK) will recite 10 Separas of the Holy Quran in Traveeh every night.

The time of Isha prayer during Mehfil-e-Shabeena at Faisal Mosque will be 7:45 pm.

Public transport arrangements on all routes for going to Faisal Mosque and back during late night hours have been made within Islamabad/Rawalpindi with the consideration of Rawalpindi/ Islamabad Road Transport Authorities.

A meeting of all concerned departments and agencies held on Wednesday in the Ministry. All co-ordinating agencies ensured complete arrangements to hold the Mehfil-e-Shabeena in a befitting manner.

However, due to security measures, those interested to participating in Mehfil-e-Shabeena have been advised not to bring minor children as well as other articles like mobile phone, camera, bag, thermos and laptop etc in the Mosque during prayer.
